These are my favorite grandchildren in California.  Love you guys.  Thanks for the fun walks, wii fun, reading stories and playing in the leaves.  See you soon in Utah, for Christmas!!

And then there was the sunset!!!  It was amazing beyond words.  The beautiful sky, the waves breaking below, the wet sand, the people below and the reflections all worked together for the eyes of the beholders! (and there were many on the sand taking in the beauty of this creation!

Friday, the day after Thanksgiving we went on an adventure to Monterey Bay.  We drove for 2 1/2 hours but were well rewarded by the gorgeous day that awaited us there.  At the Fisherman's wharf we had clam chowder in bread bowls and enjoyed the smells of the wharf and the sea.  The day was perfect in every way.  The weather was fabulous, the waves were huge and breaking far out, giving the surfers a fun ride in.  The sun reflected through the slightly cloudy skies giving the water below a unbelievable glow.

After dinner it was time to decorate the Christmas tree, but with all the decorations put in one place on the tree, right at eye level of two little boys, they ran out of space and so decided to decorate Logan.  And then we ran out of space there also.  Grandma is sure that this tree will be decorated and redecorated time and time again. That's what is so fun about a Christmas tree.

I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving.  Steve and I shared Thanksgiving with Abe and Nicole and boys in Fresno this year. Nicole is a great cook!  Why does it always take so long to make and such a short time to eat Thanksgiving Dinner.  I told everyone to eat slowly, but they didn't listen to me.

Halloween is such a fun time of year.  One of the fun spots you will see us buzzing around is Gardner's Village in Salt Lake City.  The Witches are out this time of year!
